Stage Designs for E-boded’s Music Festivals
Desert Island Festival 2019
In this design & build project, made in collaboration with Ar. Omri Bornstein, we created 3 spiral and tilted staricases, challenging the eye and the mind, questioning the borders between 2D to 3D and between staticity and movement.
The festival, located in Hanokdim Village in the south of Israel, hosted local as well as international artists such as Young Marco, Move D, Powder and many more.

In this small stage design, the choice of materials and colors, was made out of an attempt to communicate with the desert’s palette and airiness. Whilst during the day it may seem like a flickering light source stuck in time, at night, with dynamic lighting, it created the illusion of movement, as seen in the videos.
